Early Christians in the Bible were often called ‘followers of the way’ referring to the way of Jesus

(Acts 9:2, 18:6, 22:4; 2 Peter 2:2; Hebrews 10:19-20)

In the decades and centuries after Jesus died and rose again, Christians around the world have sought to demonstrate their commitment to following in the way of Jesus by naming important ‘practices’ to help form the rhythm of daily life. These practices have helped them through thick and thin, the ups and downs, the joys, and hardships of life.

In Barnwell today, we long to see many come to faith in Jesus and recognise the part we have to play in God’s mission to Barnwell. Together, we have distilled nine core practices that we want to form the rhythm of our communal and individual lives together.

To find out more about each of our practices and suggested resources for each one take a look below.
